make-a-wish holiday home tour
Arrington wine country in east Williamson County is the setting for this year’s premier home tour, Make-A-Wish Holiday Home Show at Kings’ Chapel. Scheduled November 28-December 6, the tour will feature five beautiful homes nestled on a cul-de-sac in the gorgeous gated community. Minutes from I-840 and I-65, the tour will have on-site parking for the five.
With 100 percent of the gate proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish organization, the building team is preparing homes ranging from Country French to Tudor. Host and developer John Powell says the children’s rooms are going to amaze and delight visitors.
“Our builders and designers are being challenged to produce a child’s Make-A-Wish dream come true bedroom. The bedrooms will be based on popular wishes requested by critically ill children who turn to Make-A-Wish to fulfill their dreams,” Powell says. “The homes will also feature charming holiday decorations and wonderful building and design ideas so folks can get inspiration for their own homes and benefit a worthy cause at the same time”
The Make-A-Wish Holiday Home Show building team includes: Kris Blalock of Blalock Homes; Chip Walker of Arrington Builders; Bob Sloan of Artistic Builders, and Jimmy Franks of Tennessee Valley Homes.
Located in the beautiful rolling hills of Williamson County, Kings’ Chapel has just opened its large European-style clubhouse featuring a chef’s gourmet kitchen with commercial-grade appliances, cozy fireplaces, and spacious porches. Overlooking the luxurious, salt-water swimming pool, the Kings’ Club includes a children’s water play area and a charming, fully-furnished cabana for entertaining.
Make-A-Wish Holiday Home Show at Kings’ Chapel will be open daily from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m November 28-December 6. The last tickets will be sold at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and will be available at the show site. An After The Show Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, December 7. At the sale, visitors can come on-site free to purchase items from the show homes.
