Hendersonville has it all—from furniture and art to home accessories and decor.  Start this trip by taking Vietnam Veterans Parkway off I-65 North or Nashville.  Exit Vietnam Veterans Parkway at Saundersville Road and turn right onto Main Street.

It’s almost two miles to Bonita Parkway, where a left turn takes you to Patricia Jane & Company, a store that is a fun collection of home decor items of all descriptions. Patricia Jane Greenway;is a noted area interior designer, and the spaces of this old home won’t disappoint.

About three blocks further down Main Street, turn right on N. Anderson Lane and as it nears its intersection with Indian Lake Blvd. you’ll find Baylor Bone Interiors. In this new retail space, Baylor Bone and Gail Cook have created a home for beautiful furnishings and home decor items, as well as their design studio.

Across the street you’ll find The Trendy Trunk, which features gift and home decor items, picture frames, and more.

And in the same area, Initial This shelters an amazing collection of gift and decor items as well as an array of monogrammable items.

Take Indian Lake Blvd. or N.Anderson Lane back to Main Street and turn right.

Once you cross the bridge at Drakes Creek Park, turn left on Walton Ferry Road.  On the left you’ll find Rugs by Jafar and his collection of imported rugs. Jafar carries service to the next level and is consulted by interior designers making rug decisions.

From Jafar’s take the crossroad Harlan off Walton’s Ferry Rd. to Dunn Street, where you’ll find the Treasure Hut Antique Gallery. Here you’ll find glassware, furniture, collectibles, and more in an older home tucked away on a tree-lined street.

Back on Main Street on the right is an older strip shopping center that shelters three home decor stores.

All About Art specializes in custom design and framing, original oils, decorative prints, glicees, serigraphs, canvas transfers, and decorative accessories.

Next door is Ta-Dah Design, which offers decorator fabrics and a team of design consultants, color consultants, and fabrication experts. Whether you’re seeking new window treatments, a coordinated bedroom look, or design for a whole house, this is the place to look.

Nearby is Essence Lighting, where you’ll find lamps, outdoor lighting, chandeliers, vanity lights, mirrors, small furnishings, and accessories. Whether your taste is traditional or contemporary, mediterranean or eclectic, you’ll find something here.

Just north of the building sporting the black and white awnings is Decorator Fabrics, which features antiques, vintage, and consignment shopping_hendersonville_lynns_184x240furniture and home decor.

No trip to Hendersonville would be complete without a stop at Lynn’s Patio Shop where the stock of outdoor furniture, umbrellas, and cushions is practically overwhelming. In addition to aluminum and wrought iron, Lynn’s features wicker that makes the transition from Old World to contemporary styles. Seating or dining, indoors or out, Lynn’s has the furniture you need. Cushions and umbrellas are made of Sunbrella®  for long-lasting quality, and the color choices are amazing.

About a block further east on Main Street is Hendersonville Furniture where you’ll find a selection of dining, bedroom, and living room furniture.

Further east, you’ll cross the railroad tracks and make a right on New Shackle Island Road. A couple of blocks on the left is Hendersonville Winnelson’s plumbing and fixtures showroom which specializes in Aqua Glass, Delta, Elkay, Moen, Pearl,Toto, and other fixtures for kitchen and bath.

In the same area is a recently opened tile showroom, Tile & Stone Design.  Linsey Capps brings her expertise from a noted Nashville tile design store and offers the area the latest looks in tile and stone for bath, kitchen, and other home spaces.

Just around the corner on Commerce Drive, Elite Installation offers years of experience and a 4,000 square foot showroom to help you envision granite, limestone, marble, concrete, and engineered stone materials.  The on-site shop uses a closed-loop water recycling system in it’s cutting and finishing department and uses low VOC solvents, sealers, and adhesives.

Further up the block on the left is Harold’s Cabinets Plus, a family-owned business offering custom built cabinetry and furniture.

Another 200 yards on the right you’ll find Silver Stone Designs, which offers granite, marble, Silestone, Technistone, and Ceasar Stone. The beautiful showroom will offer plenty of inspiration for your next project.  The company has also recently added cabinets to its arsenal of products.

Turn left back at New Shackle Island Road and take it across Vietnam Veterans Parkway to La-Z-Boy Furniture, where you’ll find beautiful upholstered pieces including loungers, sofas, sleepers, and more. In addition to reclining outdoor wicker pieces and stunning wicker seating groups, La-Z-Boy offers wrought iron and dining sets.

Next door, Ethan Allen features traditional and contemporary furnishings ranging from the bedroom to the dining room and living room. If you’re looking for traditional finely-built wooden furniture or modern lines, Ethan Allen offers something for you.  Want a wing chair with contemporary upholstery?  Shabby chic looking painted furniture?  Be sure to stop here.

Take New Shackle Island Road back to Main Street and turn right. Continue almost 2 miles.
