’tis the season holiday marketplace
’Tis the Season Holiday Marketplace, sponsored by the Junior League of Nashville is scheduled November 19-21 at The Factory at Franklin. This three-day holiday shopping extravaganza brings together a juried selection of more than 75 merchants from across the country who offer shoppers access to one-of-a-kind home décor, food, clothing, toys, jewelry, and more. The scores of unique specialty and boutique items provide great shopping opportunities while the marketplace raises funds to support the Junior League of Nashville’s community projects. “The Junior League of Nashville has a longstanding history of community involvement dating back to 1922,” says Stacy Sullivan-Karrels, Junior League of Nashville president. “As one of the Junior League of Nashville’s signature fundraisers, the ’Tis the Season Holiday Marketplace helps us continue our legacy of supporting programs that help make Middle Tennessee a better place and create a brighter future for children, women, and families.” According to Sullivan-Karrels, Junior League of Nashville members have been busy as elves to make certain this year’s marketplace is a wonderful experience for shoppers and that the merchandise is as fabulous as ever. “’Tis the Season promises to be a fun and relaxing alternative to the hustle and bustle of the traditional shopping experience,” she says. “The best part is that it is all for a great cause.” Co-chaired by Sarah Goschy and Brooke Reusch, ’Tis the Season features two special events that are open to the public. Candy Cane Cocktails, scheduled at 7 p.m. November 20 kicks off the holiday season and includes entertainment by “Super T" and the Tyrone Smith Review, the number one dance and show band throughout the South for more than 28 years.
