’Tis the Season Holiday Marketplace, sponsored by the Junior League of Nashville is scheduled November 18-20 at The Factory at Franklin.
This three-day holiday shopping extravaganza brings together a juried selection of more than 70 merchants from across the country who offer shoppers access to one-of-a-kind home décor, food, clothing, toys, jewelry, and more. The scores of unique specialty and boutique items provide great shopping opportunities while the marketplace raises funds to support the Junior League of Nashville’s community projects.

“Our Junior League of Nashville volunteers, as well as our spectacular array of vendors this year, promise to deliver a shopping extravaganza that we hope will delight each shopper that passes through our doors,” says Heather Kemp, Junior League of Nashville president. “The ’Tis the Season Holiday Marketplace committee has worked hard to ensure top quality products will be available for your perusal…offered will be some favorites from past years as well as some new and exciting vendors to satisfy many of your shopping needs for this holiday season!”

According to Kemp, Junior League of Nashville members have been as busy as elves to make certain this year’s marketplace is a wonderful experience for shoppers and that the merchandise is even more fabulous than in years past.

“’Tis the Season promises to be a fun and relaxing alternative to the hustle and bustle of the traditional shopping experience,” she says.
“The best part is that all of the proceeds will go back into the community through the Junior League’s numerous volunteer efforts.”

The Junior League of Nashville is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Co-chaired by Genevieve McKinney and Jen Watson, ’Tis the Season also features the Santa Snaps event, which is open to the public.

From noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, children will have the opportunity to visit with Santa in a winter wonderland at The Commons
at The Factory.  Photos by Ashley Segroves, voted Nashville Parent’s #1 children’s photographer for 8 consecutive years, will be available for $15 each. There is also the option to have photographs made into holiday cards for mailing this season. Visits with Santa are complimentary.

One-day shopping passes for the event are available for $7 each or $15 for a 3-day pass online at http://www.TisTheSeasonShopping.com. One-day tickets are $8 at the door. ’Tis the Season is a stroller-free environment.
