Solar Insulation Window Tinting announces a revolutionary glass insulation technology which the company reports will drastically increase energy savings all year long. EnerLogic™ window films are micro-thin transparent coatings that Solar Insulation professionally installs to the interior side of the glass. Once installed, the products are backed by a manufacturer’s lifetime warranty for residential installations and a 15 year warranty on commercial installations. There is no construction mess and there are no major disruptions. “And these products are as easy to clean as your windows are today,” says Shrewsbury.
Pricing is based on the measurements of the glass, access to the glass, and total size of the job. A typical residential installation of 4 double hung windows (8 panes that measure 3-ft. by 6-ft. with no permanent grids) would cost about $800-900. If the installation requires ladders or scaffolding the price would be higher. These products are more costly than typical window films but are drastically less expensive than replacement windows, says Shrewsbury.
